Great Upper Nile Base Camps

The International Humanitarian Partnership (IHP) played a critical role in supporting humanitarian operations in South Sudan by establishing six Light Base Camps (LBCs) across challenging locations in the Greater Upper Nile area.

Alta Verapaz Landslide

In response to the January 4, 2009 landslide in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala, Norway, through IHP, provided ICT support to UNDAC. The deployment included satellite phones, laptops, and internet access, enabling effective coordination and rapid needs assessments in the remote, disaster-stricken area. This support was vital for streamlining relief efforts and aiding affected communities.

Hurricane Noel

In response to Hurricane Noel's impact on Haiti in 2007, the International Humanitarian Partnership (IHP) deployed Sweden's ICT support module to assist the UNDAC team. This support ensured efficient communication and coordination, bolstering the effectiveness of the humanitarian response.
