Other missions

Yogyakarta Earthquake

Following the devastating earthquake in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, on 27 Mai 2006, the International Humanitarian Partnership (IHP) provided critical ICT support to the United Nations Disaster Assessment and Coordination (UNDAC) operation. IHP deployed communication specialists and equipment to establish reliable information and coordination systems in the affected area.

Namibia Floods

During the 2009 Namibia floods, IHP supported UNDAC by deploying ICT modules and technical experts to establish vital communication networks. The team provided satellite phones, internet access, and operational support, enabling effective coordination and rapid needs assessments.

Amman UNHCR Headquarters

In 2013, IHP assisted UNHCR in relocating offices in Amman, Jordan, constructing a new compound with prefabricated offices. This project enhanced operational efficiency, supporting UNHCR’s growing workforce and ensuring effective coordination for the Syrian refugee response across the region.
