Other missions

Albania Earthquake

In November 2019, Albania was hit by a series of powerful earthquakes that caused widespread destruction, particularly in the capital, Tirana, and surrounding areas.

Hurricane Dean

In response to Hurricane Dean's devastation in Jamaica in 2007, the International Humanitarian Partnership (IHP) deployed Sweden's ICT support module to assist the UNDAC team. This critical setup ensured robust communication and coordination in the aftermath of the disaster, enabling efficient humanitarian response and decision-making during a challenging recovery period.

Al-Shikhan Refugee Camp

In response to the 2014 Iraq internal displacement, the IHP was called upon by UNHCR to assist in establishing camps to house IDPs. One of the camps was constructed in Sheikhan, in northern Iraq.
