Other missions

Monrovia ETU & Camp

More than 9,200 confirmed, probable, and suspected cases of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) were reported across seven countries by mid-October 2014. To support efforts in combating the outbreak, the International Humanitarian Partnership (IHP) deployed two cargo aircraft from Stockholm and a team of support staff over the weekend of October 18-19.

Port Loko Base Camp

The Port Loko Base Camp was initially designed to house 84 responders, including staff from the nearby ETC managed by the NGO GOAL, as well as other Ebola responders. Due to high demand, capacity was expanded to 108 guests.

TRIPLEX 2013

TRIPLEX 2013, hosted on the Danish-German border, was one of the world’s largest civilian-led humanitarian coordination exercises. Organized by the International Humanitarian Partnership (IHP) and co-financed by the European Commission Civil Protection Mechanism, it brought together over 200 participants from 35 organizations. The scenario involved a cyclone striking two fictional countries, Nordland and Sydland, affecting nearly one million people. Participants practiced evacuation, shelter provision, and infrastructure repair, with coordination led by the On-Site Operations Coordination Centre (OSOCC).
