Pakistan Floods

During the 2007 floods in Pakistan's Sindh province, the International Humanitarian Partnership (IHP) supported the UNDAC team with ICT modules provided by Denmark and Norway. These resources ensured reliable communication and coordination, enabling swift and efficient humanitarian response in the flood-affected regions.

Cyclone Iandala

During Cyclone Indlala in March 2007, IHP provided UNDAC with essential ICT support to aid in disaster response. The deployment included satellite phones, laptops, and internet connectivity to enable seamless communication and coordination in the cyclone-affected regions. 2015

Malawi Floods

In January 2015, Malawi experienced devastating flooding that affected over 1 million people, displaced more than 336,000, and resulted in 100 fatalities. The floods caused widespread damage to crops, livestock, and infrastructure. In response to a request from the Malawian government, an UNDAC (UN Disaster Assessment and Coordination) team was deployed by UN OCHA to assess the situation and provide guidance.
