Marshall Islands Drought

In 2013, a severe drought in the Marshall Islands led to a humanitarian crisis, with widespread water shortages and food insecurity. IHP, with Sweden providing ICT support, assisted OCHA in coordinating relief efforts, ensuring effective communication and logistical support to the affected communities.

Zaatari Refugee Camp

Amid the Syrian refugee crisis, IHP supported UNHCR by constructing 80 office spaces in Jordan’s Zaatari Refugee Camp. These facilities strengthened coordination and improved services for over 80,000 residents, showcasing the importance of global partnerships in humanitarian response.

Hurricane Beryl

In July 2024, the International Humanitarian Partnership (IHP) responded to Hurricane Beryl by providing critical support to the UN Disaster Assessment and Coordination (UNDAC) team.
