Beirut Port Explosion

On 4 August 2020, a massive explosion occurred at the Beirut Port in Lebanon, caused by the detonation of approximately 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate stored improperly in a warehouse.

Hurricane Felix

In response to Hurricane Felix in Honduras in 2007, the International Humanitarian Partnership (IHP) deployed ICT support modules from Norway and Sweden to assist the UNDAC team. This support facilitated effective communication and coordination, enhancing the efficiency of humanitarian operations in the disaster-affected areas.

Burkina Faso Floods

In response to the 2009 Burkina Faso floods, IHP supported UNDAC by deploying ICT modules and experts to establish reliable communication networks.
