Experts
IHP has the capacity to deploy skilled personnel across a wide range of expertise, including logistics, engineering, IT, telecommunications, water and sanitation, information management, emergency coordination, and assessments, among others. Its staff are highly trained and, depending on their respective agencies, can often be deployed on very short notice. Member organizations maintain rosters of professional and volunteer experts who are extensively trained in their fields, as well as in humanitarian principles, the operations of the UN, and the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.

Support Modules
IHP’s Equipment and Support Staff Solutions provide customized, rapidly deployable technical and operational resources. These include specialized equipment paired with trained support personnel. All IHP solutions are comprehensive, meaning they are delivered fully operational, complete with staff and all necessary components for functionality. Each service is tailored to the specific needs of the partner agency, taking into account the operation's scope, timeline, and requirements. To ensure the best possible outcome, IHP often deploys an advance team to assess field needs and deliver the most effective solution. Currently, IHP provides a range of solutions across four main areas:
IT and telecommunications
Coordination support
Office and accommodation
Logistics services
Moreover, each IHP member possesses a vast array of equipment not standardized within the IHP framework, available for request and deployment.
ICT Support
ICT support modules for timely and reliable connectivity services
The ICT Support Modules are designed to enhance the efficiency of humanitarian operations by providing timely and reliable ICT services. They support coordination, operational security, and informed decision-making by enabling the effective dissemination of critical information. These tailor-made modules can feature state-of-the-art satellite communication terminals, radio equipment, and drones for aerial reconnaissance.

The Modules, scalable and adaptable to a wide range of use-cases, can range from a smaller package for first responder teams, providing basic communication and office services, up to a larger package for longer-term missions and larger teams, offering comprehensive telecommunications services and support. Each Module includes expert installation, maintenance, user support, and logistical assistance.

Coordination Support
Scalable coordination solutions for operations of all sizes
IHP’s modular solutions are designed to support the establishment of coordination centers, such as On-Site Operations Coordination Centres (OSOCCs) or Reception and Departure Centres (RDCs), to facilitate effective humanitarian coordination and streamline relief operations. These scalable and adaptable modules can range from smaller setups for first responder teams, providing essential communication and office services, to larger packages tailored for extended missions and larger teams, offering advanced telecommunications and office support.
Each module is deployed with at least two support staff for setup and maintenance, with larger facilities often requiring additional personnel during the initial establishment phase. Specialized staff may also be added to support coordination and information management. Modules include expert installation, maintenance, user support, and logistical assistance, providing office infrastructure and communication tools. Coordination centers are tailored to specific needs and can be housed in tents, prefabricated units, or existing buildings.
