Other missions

Libya Civil War

During the 2011 Libyan civil war, IHP supported the UNDAC team by providing essential office and communication infrastructure, enabling efficient coordination and assessment of the humanitarian response in a volatile environment.

Malawi Floods

In January 2015, Malawi experienced devastating flooding that affected over 1 million people, displaced more than 336,000, and resulted in 100 fatalities. The floods caused widespread damage to crops, livestock, and infrastructure. In response to a request from the Malawian government, an UNDAC (UN Disaster Assessment and Coordination) team was deployed by UN OCHA to assess the situation and provide guidance.

Kaga-Bandoro Compound

To support a sustainable UN presence in the region around Kaga-Bandoro (CAR), the IHP undertook a mission to establish a fully functional inter-agency office and accommodation compound.
