Other missions

Marshall Islands Drought

In 2013, a severe drought in the Marshall Islands led to a humanitarian crisis, with widespread water shortages and food insecurity. IHP, with Sweden providing ICT support, assisted OCHA in coordinating relief efforts, ensuring effective communication and logistical support to the affected communities.

Uganda Preparedness

IHP provided ICT support to UNDAC during Uganda's emergency preparedness efforts. The deployment included satellite phones, laptops, and internet connectivity to ensure seamless communication and coordination in disaster response scenarios. This critical support helped enhance Uganda's readiness to handle emergencies, enabling efficient assessments and real-time collaboration with international humanitarian teams.

Hurricane Irma

In response to the impending arrival of Hurricane Irma in September 2017, the International Humanitarian Partnership (IHP) swiftly mobilized to support the United Nations Disaster Assessment and Coordination (UNDAC) team, focusing on strengthening communication infrastructure amidst anticipated widespread destruction.
