Other missions

Sumatra Earthquake

In response to the devastating 2009 Sumatra earthquake, IHP supported UNDAC and OCHA by deploying ICT modules to restore communication networks and a base camp to house relief workers. The ICT setup, including satellite phones and internet access, enabled efficient coordination, while the base camp provided essential facilities for responders.

Northwest Syria Assessment

The ongoing crisis in Northern Syria, particularly in and around Idlib, has reached critical levels. With escalating clashes, many NGOs and international NGOs (INGOs) are working tirelessly to provide relief to the affected population.

Ghana Floods

In response to the Ghana floods in September 2007, IHP offered vital ICT support to the UNDAC team. The deployment included satellite phones, laptops, and internet access, ensuring smooth communication and coordination during the crisis. This support facilitated quick assessments, effective relief coordination, and the timely distribution of aid to those affected by the floods.
