Other missions

Hurricane Dean

In response to Hurricane Dean's devastation in Jamaica in 2007, the International Humanitarian Partnership (IHP) deployed Sweden's ICT support module to assist the UNDAC team. This critical setup ensured robust communication and coordination in the aftermath of the disaster, enabling efficient humanitarian response and decision-making during a challenging recovery period.

Azraq Refugee Camp

In response to the Syrian refugee crisis, IHP supported UNHCR in Azraq Refugee Camp by constructing 80 office spaces. These facilities enhanced coordination and aid delivery, ensuring better services for thousands of refugees in Jordan’s desert-based camp.

Alta Verapaz Landslide

In response to the January 4, 2009 landslide in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala, Norway, through IHP, provided ICT support to UNDAC. The deployment included satellite phones, laptops, and internet access, enabling effective coordination and rapid needs assessments in the remote, disaster-stricken area. This support was vital for streamlining relief efforts and aiding affected communities.
